This app is a work-around since the old Muzo Player app is no longer available. The speakers that this app supports have no built-in digital screen, and they do not have Bluetooth capability. However, they are Alexa-enabled, but you cannot control them or set them up with the Alexa app.

However, the clarity of the sound is far superior to that of Bluetooth. Plus, the speaker is not dependent on a secondary device streaming it music. It pulls the music straight from the internet or a NAS. Several manufacturers utilize the Muzo app as an interface for their hardware, which is convenient because it gives you options when planning a whole house system.

The Legacy Player app instructions can be confusing because different brands and models of streaming speakers have different ways that they connect. You have to take your time, play around with it, and try various creative approaches. Don't rely strictly on the directions. Eventually, almost as if by accident, your streaming speaker will say "speaker is connected to Wi-Fi," and then you've got Alexa back online, which is great!
